This theme refers to many periods and conflicts to many periods and conflicts. These extracts from registers are less exhaustive and more incomplete than those of sailors, yet they offer invaluable information about our ancestors.

This database gathers the following types of servicemen :
- Conscripts raised in communes, within the Ille et Vilaine department.
- Conscripts from the 13th light infantry regiment from 1800 to 1815.
- Soldiers of the Empire (raised mostly in Ille et Vilaine).
- Legion of Ille et Vilaine from 1815 to 1820.
- Mobilized soldiers from the Bretagne and Loire army and soldiers deceased in the Redon hospital (including soldiers from the camp of Conlie) during the 1870 war.
- Mobilized soliers from the department of Yonne, during the war of 1870.
- Servicemen and civilians whose names are inscribed on Ille-et-Vilaine war memorials
